Refund policy

Seven days, no questions asked.

Last updated 4 September 2026

If you’d like a refund, email info@shotography.com.au within seven days of your purchase and it will be refunded in full. You don’t need to give a reason, and you won’t be asked to justify it.

Try the trial first

Syncopate It has a free seven-day trial that is the complete product — no watermarks, no disabled features, no limit on how many takes you sync. The clock starts when you press Begin trial, not when you install, so setting up doesn’t cost you a day.

Run it on a real batch of your own footage during the trial and you’ll know whether it’s for you before any money changes hands. Most people won’t need this page at all.

What happens to your licence

When a purchase is refunded, the licence key stops working. Anything Syncopate It already produced for you — timelines, exports, edits — is unaffected and remains yours. Nothing is removed from your machine or your projects.

Faults are not time-limited

If Syncopate It is faulty, or doesn’t do what it says it does, your rights are not capped at seven days. Under the Australian Consumer Law you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. Nothing in this policy or in the licence agreement excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.

So if something breaks in month six, write in. That’s a bug to fix, not a refund window to argue about.

One favour, before you ask

If something isn’t working, please tell me what. A single email often turns a refund into a fixed bug, and Syncopate It has got better every time someone has bothered. You’ll get the refund either way; I’d just rather know.

How refunds are paid

Purchases are processed by Gumroad, and refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, usually within five to ten business days depending on your bank. Refunds are made in the currency you were charged.
